COVID-19 Update on the update
Clearly the announcement from the government means that site visits are no longer a possibility and will not be until the situation is reviewed in three week’s time. If, however, there is something about your property that is causing some concern it is still possible to take a look via video calling. Not as good as seeing it in the flesh, but hopefully sufficient to offer a level of comfort.
Otherwise, as previously stated, business as usual. Still working. Still able to take phone calls, emails and the like. And as I said before, Planning Permission takes a minimum of six weeks. We’ll all be out playing football again by then!
These are extremely worrying times and we find ourselves in a brand new situation. It is the fear of the unknown that creates a great deal of stress. I am not immune to the anxiety that many are feeling and it is sometimes overwhelming, making it difficult to summon up the energy to be positive and keep moving forward. But there are reasons to be optimistic. Draconian measures in other parts of the world are being lifted, if slowly. So just after Easter, we could be in a different, slightly less isolated situation and we may find that society in general has changed permanently and for the better.
Keep well. Keep positive (so that when I’m down you can help me!). Keep this mantra – this, too, will pass.
